Travel Grant (medical student and family medicine residents only)

• Applicant must be an AAFP Member going to school in Hawaii
• Grants are limited to one event per calendar year per recipient
• Applications accepted March 1- April 30
• Grants support conferences such as:
  • AAFP National Conference of Medical Students and Residents
  • AAFP Chief Resident Leadership Development Program
  • AAFP Family Medicine Advocacy Summit
  • Other (must provide details)
• Recipient must adhere to the following requirements:
  • Grant permission to allow HAFP Foundation to use your photo and essay in promotional materials (e.g., website, social media, newsletters, etc.);
  • Provide HAFP Foundation with an expense report with receipts within two weeks of the conclusion of the event; and
  • Provide HAFP Foundation with a brief written report of experience at the event
